hi, my name is aisha. i'm passionate about sharing the things that inspire me and i care about with others. thatβs why iβm deeply interested in art, community work, and ways in which they intersect. i'm currently studying art history and philosophy at humboldt university in berlin and work as a tutor and student assistant in the art history department there.
my academic experience has instilled in me a strong desire to make knowledge accessible to as many people as possible. i love connecting ideas from different fields and exploring how they can work together in practice. in the workshops i often provide small theoretical inputs about art, that work as a starting point for exchange between all of us. i'm always excited to hear how others perceive things.

my journey into community work began at the age of 15 when i started volunteering at a museum and supporting creative projects for youth. after moving to berlin i continued this work with various organisations, mostly supporting migrants and queer people. eventually it evolved into co-facilitating creative workshops with my friends which is a dream come true.

although i study art history i have a very complicated relationship with art. i do collages, make-up, jewellery, write, take photos. still i often have hard time to describe myself as an artist and frequently feel that I can't create "good art". i know that's just wrong. what is even "good art" and who decided it?
so, in our workshops, apart from telling bad jokes, i make sure no one feels like they can't create something or have to make something perfect. because any way you express your creativity is the right way and you donβt owe anyone perfection.
here are some things i created:
