Hey hey

I’m Radu, a trans non-binary human, that moved from Bucharest to Berlin some years ago. I moved here with the purpose of studying, but found instead my identity journey. I’m a intuitive and observant person, with a big passion for aesthetics, in all mediums possible. My interests are make-up, environment/ space building, art (mostly contemporary), nature/ jogging and music.

I’m currently studying Art History and Regional Studies Asia and Africa at the Humboldt University during the day and working as a bar-person during the evening and night.

I took painting and music classes throughout my childhood and teenage years, but when it came time to choose a path, I fell into the trap of thinking I wasn’t good enough to pursue art.

Fast forward four years—after doing nothing but theory—I imploded. I was starving to create; my hands were burning. That’s when I found a new medium: makeup.

I started doing a whole bunch of makeup, like graphic liners, editorials, even graphic representations:

But then I discovered something more appealing to me: character transformation

And here we are in the present: after I finish my bachelor, I want to pursue a makeup artist career (Maskenbildner*). Maybe work in a theater, maybe in the opera, or even special effects…
